That happened to me today I opened the site and left it open when I tried to sign in that happened. Maybe a bug?

I received the same message earlier, but don't know the reason. I don't think it's anything to worry about, although I will mention it to our tech person.

Things like that happen. I cant get on another BL'ver site I am A member of today. Maybe you kept on using the wrong Name or PW. Hitting the wrong key.

I also got this error logging in for my first time, I'm connected through a multi-hop proxy for my own safety while using a RAM-based browser that's isolated from my main OS.

Too bad for them my accounts have randomly generated usernames with long, high-entropy, pass-phrases as passwords. If someone is trying to password-guess accounts, you can assume they are maliciously trying to uncover identities. These people look for a trail to follow, don't be the lowest-hanging fruit! Stay safe out there.

In this case, be grateful for the annoyance, as it is preventing much worse from happening.

Tech admin thinks it's a DOS attack to hassle our members logging in. We were also down for around 5 minutes yesterday. But there is no threat to member safety.

As Rooster says, the captcha makes it harder for attackers, so the last thing we want to do is disable that.

Just type in the captcha and give our haters the middle finger!

It happened to me too. Also, someone was trying to start trouble with me on BLOL and I think I know who. But that situation has now been resolved.
