Do MAPs have the ability to relate to minors and treat them more like equals

I was wondering whether it is common for MAP’s to view children/teenagers as peers or equals. Like for example, I feel uncomfortable to be seen as the dominating person, so I probably would struggle to stand up to children or teenagers if they say something hurtful. Or MAP’s speak to minors or treat them like other individuals or may have the urge to show off or be the cool person or be fun. I don’t know if anyone else has felt like that.

Apparently, within sex offender treatment, it's called emotional congruence with children.

I strongly believe healthy and equal relationships/friendships between minors and adults is possible. I think society needs to accept that adults are human beings and can be innocent, don’t know everything and age does not define a persons maturity, experience, ability and emotional state or who they are as an Individual. Adults should not be stereotyped as dominant authority figures.

I believe so, but I have always avoided being around children due to fear of others misconstruing my intensions. I respect children more than most parents, honestly.
