I'd be curious to have an AAM who joins this forum explain in greater detail his/her reasons for being here. Virtually all of them, until now, have done little more than join and post a short intro. Indeed, many of them were likely adults role-playing (not that I understand why anyone would choose this platform for that purpose!).

Is it mere general curiosity, or do you have something more specific in mind? If your intent is to see "what MAPs are like", I'd point out that we're about as diverse a group as heterosexual or LGBT people.

Please do. In a nutshell, this community is focused on activism, not on socialization. We advocate for social and legal change regarding MAP issues and youth rights. On the latter topic, yesterday evening, I was reading the Youth Perspectives page on the NewgonWiki with great interest, and one paragraph in particular struck me:

Generation Wicked (Girls 12-16) is a committee of 12 teenage girls set up to advise the UK government on youth issues. The committee's agenda includes lowering the Age of Consent to 12. The Web site that spawned the group, wickedcolors.com, also conducted a poll of 42,000 girls between 12 and 16 on the age-of-consent. 87% responded that it should be lowered from 16. Later, a chatroom on the website had to be shut down pre-emptively by adults because of what the Dorset Echo described as "pervert fears".

I for one am an unapologetic pervert. Up to you to decide whether or not fear is the correct response.

Also, please take no offense at this inquiry, but is your writing style deliberately intended to emphasize your age, or is that really how teenage girls write nowadays? No girl I knew as a teen wrote like that, but then again, the friends I hung out with (male and female) were definitely not a representative sample, and it's been two decades since.

No need to apologize. I'll just point out the "Official Guidance - Spotting fake/bait AAMs" section of the NewgonWiki page on AAMs, which literally uses "heyyyy" and decapitalization as examples of potential fake traits.

But don't worry. I understand social anxiety and communication difficulties: I'm autistic, so it took me a long time and a lot of effort to get where I am today with respect to being comfortable interacting with others, especially neurotypical people. Don't put any effort into adjusting the way you write; instead, what's truly important is what you write. Indeed, the question I asked you earlier still stands: why exactly did you end up here?

i’ve been in map/aam communities before, and i guess i liked who i interacted with, and the feeling of inclusivity. another reason definitely is that i am curious, i guess
maybe i just like the thought of “disturbing” scenarios, idk
i have a question for you now, WavesInEternity: would you rather have teeth made out of soap, or a tongue made out of sandpaper? you don’t really taste soap cus that’d be super unpleasant, but it does get all sudsy. it’s like really tough soup so it doesn’t disintegrate THAT easily, but it does wear down, BUT, after it gets all worn down, your teeth will reset at 12:00 AM each morning. so it’s not like worn down anymore. for your tongue you can kinda feel the sandpaper in your mouth, but it’s like 40% less unpleasant. however, it still feels like normal sandpaper when you lick yourself or someone else. personally, i’d choose the tongue. i think it’d be kind of fun. but i’m not trying to distract you from the topic so don’t think too hard on that i guess

It does. The Internet and social media have such universal appeal because the need for interpersonal connection is part of human nature. No matter where it is and how it is that you end up finding affinities and bonding with others, it's an important part of life and well-being. For people with social anxiety, online interactions can be especially appealing (speaking from experience!).

I see. I guess the idea of being a young girl in a community of so-called "pedophiles" does qualify as a "disturbing scenario". Though if you've already been acquainted with MAPs, you probably know that most of us are just as ordinarily weird as the normies, that the "predator" and "molester" stereotypes are completely wrong, and that "grooming" is typically just another word for ordinary seduction when society disapproves of the age gap involved.

Oh dear, that has to be the strangest question I've been asked in years. Probably the tongue too, if only because it reminds me of cats, and I consider the cat to be my spirit animal, my totem of sorts. I'm a solitary animal who's hard to really connect with but is soft and cuddly once you do. I hate water. Oh, and I do have an affinity with actual cats. Kittens are nearly as wonderful as little girls. ♡
A sandpaper tongue would be problematic for cunnilingus though, so if I had a romantic partner, I'd go for the soap teeth!

My turn for a question. A rather anti-AMSC family member once told me that younger girls who claim to have a romantic interest in older men care little about affection or intimacy (let alone sex) and really just want a "sugar daddy" to buy them things. Would you ever date a man that's dirt poor if you loved everything about him as a person? (Edit: or a woman/her, sorry for the heteronormativity!)
