That article reads like something from The Onion. I had to double-check to make sure it wasn't a parody site. Poe's Law most certainly applies here.

Child love dolls are a perfectly fine idea. Androids would be an ethical solution as well, and so would be non-conscious "lab grown" pseudo-children, for that matter, if it ever becomes possible (robots are immensely more likely).

What they said about Karen Berg is apparently true. Kudos to her for rational and compassionate thinking.

Baxter Dmitry is reaching some odd conclusions based on the evidence they cited.

Noah Yuval Harari responded to criticism of the WEF’s pro-pedophilia agenda on X by posting a truly repugnant message calling for the legalization of child molestation.

I can't see a call for the legalization of child molestation anywhere in Harari's tweet:

I know it's a waste of time to try to refute every conspiracy theorist, however, that was some good clickbait.

BTW, have you watched the TV series "Humans"? It is not clearly expressed in the series (or I just missed it), but I was wondering who would be the clients for the child androids in the mind of the series writers.

Anyhow, I used to be positive regarding android children for MAPs, but now I'm not so sure anymore. Those like myself who think that kid/adult relationships are much more than just sex (sex being the icing on the cake), that mentoring and friendship are a big deal... They will say: What about the real children who could benefit from these positive relationships?

I think there will always be some among us for whom sexuality is too important to be viewed as merely "icing on the cake", and indeed whose unbridled adult libido would likely be too much to handle for virtually any child. I was somewhat like that as a teenager, and if I had been an exclusive paedophile, an android would definitely have been a great option at the time (actually, I'd have liked one in any case). Such people are generally the most likely among MAPs to have "predatory" thoughts—which did happen to me exactly once in my life at 15, partly because I didn't have access to lolicon at the family cottage.

Also, in the same way as having lolicon as a sexual outlet allows me to properly focus on non-sexual aspects of my relationships with little girls, having an even better sexual outlet would plausibly allow me to focus even better on the platonic side. No matter how realistic the android becomes, I'd always want real bonds with real young girls. There is no way I'd ever be romantically satisfied with an android, and I'd think anyone who could be would be unlikely to bring much to children.

We should also keep in mind that many MAPs can't have real-life relationships for various reasons: physical and mental health issues (my own health issues are severe enough right now that they preclude any real romance), severe social anxiety, absence of suitable partners nearby, etc. They deserve the opportunity to be sexually fulfilled, too.

Ultimately, the one downside I can see is that it could remove incentives to push for legal reform regarding actual AMSC.

I found it interesting, if nothing else because it made me reflect on possible scenarios of a future with realistic androids. So yes, I would recommend it.

Ultimately, the one downside I can see is that it could remove incentives to push for legal reform regarding actual AMSC.

I see your points and mostly I agree. It is ultimately the quoted part, which is intrinsically related to the question "What about the real children...?", which mostly bothers me.
