Is there any Inconspicuous ways to signal you're a LgL so that the only way another person would know is if they themselves are one? Like a pin or a logo. They ones i have seen are a bit to obvious i think.

There is no way that isn't conspicuous.

"Pedophile" symbols are pretty conspicuous to those who hate pedophiles hard enough. Less so to pedophiles, and most code and symbology is now online.

I think, to avoid interception, signals must be:
Unannounced. There should be no dedicated and predictable signal.
Contextual. Only MAP should understand and decipher it. No one else. In other words there must be some exchange of "meaning tokens" that are not the same but are understood by both.

I feel like inconspicuous signals like that are only useful for offline communities, which we don't really have, unfortunately. It's never too late to try and make one, though. You could use slightly more conspicuous means to gather a group of maps, then convince them all to wear a certain signal like a pin, ring, or bracelet. If your community grows large enough, and if others begin to form, then the practice could spread to other map communities by word of mouth.

I definitely wouldn't mind joining such a group. I am currently in a sort of support group for MAP's but there is always a therapist present. Don't get me wrong she's a real understanding person. But still it would be nice to meat MAP's outside in RL

Can't you also meet up for beers informally, without the therapist?

Unfortunately we haven't done that yet, not because we aren't allowed to but i think most of them feel awkward if we do
