You know the one, 40-80 years old, male, white, unattracive, bad social skills, possibly overweight with a neckbeard. Im pretty much the complete opposite of all those sterotypes so I laugh whenever pedos get portrayed as fat white male neck beards on reddit or crusty middle aged and elderly men because I quite literally look the complete opposite. Based on those sterotypes its impossible for me to be a pedo since I look like a “normie” and people find me pleasant to look at and be around. If antis are trying to decipher whos a pedo or whos not based on looks alone they arent going to find even half of us since they assume all of us are older unnatractive white men. Even a person who looks like Billie Ellish or Kendrick Lamar could be a pedophile but since they look “normal” no one would ever know unless you came out or got doxxed. And even then people still wouldnt believe it and assume its something else like POCD or simply lying for attention. People will be talking about how much they hate pedos to me and ill be looking at them like “ yeah t-t-those p-pedos sure do suck!”

I feel like most people would be surprised to find out I was a MAP if they knew me in real life.
Definitely don't fit this stereotype at all, besides being a white male. Of course, attractiveness is subjective, so I'll leave that open-ended.

Though it's my whole point, or plan I guess, of hiding in plain sight, works better than you would think. It's not that I'm a bad person, I am rather fun to be around and usually can spark up an interesting conversation with a total stranger on a whim. Most people just don't associate that as "pedophilic".

To others, I am just a normal person who sometimes cracks well-timed jokes.

I’m a 36-year-old Dutch guy, average build, short hair, no neck-beard lol. I work freelance, meet clients every week, and im a dad to a six-year-old. No one who knows me would link me to the “creepy, socially awkward pedo”

So add me to the list of members who don’t fit the 'stereotype' at all.

I don't fit the "gross old pedo" stereotype at all, but some people might say I fit the "smooth, psychopathic groomer" stereotype.

That stereotype is about someone fairly attractive, respected by people around them, charismatic but who takes a particular interest in kids.

Being charismatic and pro-social doesn't mean psychopathic, though. My kindness is sincere, not instrumental. I build relationships for their own, not with the goal of sex. And I'm too quirky and erratic to be considered a "smooth, calculated planner".

It does match me better than the "creepy old guy in a trench coat in a park", though.
