If the predictions made in The Push are accurate, I guess some of these points now not met will be met.

Huh? The Push? Are you talking about a popular movement in general that is having an effect on the leadership, or what? Reference please!

Anyway, some of the ideas in that book are really f'ing awesome and i myself have experimented with some! I.e. my Orgasm Liberation Front direct action in 1995, MN, MN. You familiar with? Along Alinsky's lines of playing (!) WITHIN the experience of those one wishes to reach most, but OUTSIDE the experience of those one seeks to challenge (for their severe alienation in various ways, i.e. racism). Some of the ideas Alinsky both inspired AND threatened to carry out (turned out that one just needed to be spoken in order to get subtle racists to the proverbial "table" of dialogue!!).

Ah!

And my reply is:
You are the New Mattachine ...and i am organizing the New Gay Liberation Front!! Without each other, we flounder (tho we both feel spiritually fulfilled!)!!

Just like in the "Good Cop, Bad Cop" (or "Good Peasant, Bad Peasant") scenario, we apart but together, can frustrate the DAMN LIES !! !!

i am sooooooooooooooooooooooOoooooooooooooooo GLAD to find you all (with this forum) not censoring my side of truth on this issue!! Nor (yet) jumping to the awfully classist Conclusion (of certain other seemingly Patriarchicly-challenged others in our community) of folks like me being CATEGORICALLY "Irrational"!! ;) :P :!:

It is truly like a "breath of Fresh Air"!!

(Bracing myself for the EXPECTED rush of the hierarchy of "The Rational" to Put Me 'Back' In my (Subordinate) Place) :D

I mean if mathematics is anything to go by, something can be perfectly real and in line with reality without necessarily being rational :P

Succinctly said!

And what about depending on "eye of the beholder"? Depending on how folks see what they see, and interpret.

So that we begin to see ALL as champions of sortz! Puzzling thru each other, with all of our plethora of cultural poetics!!

I'm reminded of the movie "Matewan" here. Where all the different cultures of minors were camping out together, fighting the tyranny of the Company Towns of West Virginia or somewhere abouts. All looking at each other askance. So used to their echo chamber norms!

We get STUCK in such as well. And maybe all of our schisms are "perfectly imperfect"! Since "What doesn't kill us, strengthens us"! Thus we begin to see each other --in the wide village and beyond-- as ALREADY doing OUR BESTS, just without meaningful consciousness...?!?

Anything to add? Or minus? Or?
