Little Nicky's Interview with Cashew42
He goes by cashew42, but he's a real human being like you and me. The difference is, he got addicted to CP. At the time of this interview on 5/18/2025, he was aware that he would likely be going straight to prison, which is where he is now. On 5/27 he entered a guilty plea for child porn charges. The judge sentenced him to 30 years, 15 of those suspended, which means he's effectively looking at 15 years behind bars, and 5 years post-release supervision. Add to that some $50K in fines, and you have the makings of an awful story that needs to be told. Listen as cashew42 talks about his life, his family and the cascade of events which led up to where he is now.

What he went through is some bullshit. Just flat-out bullshit. They say America was about justice and liberty for all, but not for people who just want to watch some vids. Apparently, justice does not apply to them. Just some draconian bullshit. The harsh and brutal punishment that people get for the mere possession of such material is not only wrong but unjust. Most of CP is self-made and often does not have external input, but even if someone was making money off of legitimate videos of abuse of kids or any persons of any age for that matter, then you should focus all of your resources, energy, and time catching that criminal then putting kids in jeopardy by focusing all of that on the people who just collect and watch. The three-letter agency taking out the leaves before the root. No matter how many leaves they take out, they are going to keep growing until you kill the root. Once you realize this, shit just makes no sense. Bullshit. Bullshit. And fucking more bullshit.

Cashew was not a threat to anyone.
The only result of this is a man who needed help, but was unable to get it, and now is likely being treated like the absolute scum of the earth behind bars.
I wish him the best, the system has failed him and calls it justice.

It's cases like this that expose the system for what it is. No one can sanely argue that it's a proportional punishment. Even if you accept that cp is is bad, how can it be so bad as to warrant such a punishment? It just shows clearly that the system is broken and it's nothing more than a witch hunt.

Even if he'd been the one producing CP, 30 years (15 suspended) seems excessive. But owning a hard drive containing CP?
Possession, no matter how many images, should incur a fine at worst.
Can you imagine 30 years for owning a copy of a manifesto written by a serial killer? Or a copy of Mein Kampf?

It does make me think that there are people so afraid of pedophiles and their potential to change the world that they create these excessive punishments to create fear in pedophiles so they hide away and don't bring about the change they fear. Fear like that only exists when you believe the other side has real power, real impact.
Seeing that makes me more confident that the anti belief system is weak and flawed and that we have more power than we often realise. Organisation and time will bring about change, they know it and we should to.
