Why is the pediverse/MAP spaces online so dead

PIM has millions upon millions of viewers yet somehow none of those pedophiles want to join the pediverse and become a MAP activist. They are willing to risk their lives gooning to PIM but dont want to stay perfectly safe on the clearweb fightin for MAP rights. Its disapointing. I honestly hope kodacon gets banned so that it will radicilize ironic lolicons and dl MAPs into fighting for their rights and advocating for the legalization of AMSC. If all outlets for MAPness are considered the same, then you might as well argue for the most radical position despite the social disaproval. Even here on Mu there barely any frequent posters. Fstube tube gets a max of 3 or so people in the comments, if they get any comments posted at all, and videos barely get any views. How do we reach more MAPs, especially minor MAPs, so that we can get a flourshing user base?

The future is probably with those for whom it is an identity or matter of existence, rather than a lifestyle choice to be hidden.

Agitating gooners in the here and now can only get you so far, as we have no control over the fundamentals of their situation. It's like telling people to buy silver, only the market will decide when there is a short squeeze. More gesture lawmaking, and the outlawing of websites like Newgon is a sign of progress towards critical mass.

Probably scared of someone finding out what sites they are visiting, even with precautions its a scary world to be in :( and its not like you can ask people in your life for help

True.
And how do we reach more MAPs? It's something that even I am trying to find answers for.

I expect it to be outlawed as "harmful and malicious online content" under anti-extremism legislation in aggressively illiberal countries such as Australia, New Zealand, the UK and the Netherlands. It hasn't happened yet, but I see this as being a sign of progress, at least in the non-linear "narrative" structure proposed by theorists such as Mirkin.

I'd be interested to see if they'd ban any pro-MAP space like VirPed, VoA, MSC, or even Prostasia. I could see Australia making up an excuse to go after it in the name of "saving the children".

They already banned social media for kids. I think some countries would join Australia soon. Other countries would resist such bans. It'd be interesting to watch how this plays out.

Certainly would be. If Australia could read minds, they'd make it illegal to have fantasies involving minors at all.

I don't think it's got to do anything with MAPs. It's probably more to curb the anxiety and depression epidemic among kids.
Or is it?
