As bad as it sounds, I frequently roll my eyes when I see someone start a post somewhere by going,

I made it 2 and a half minutes in before I gave up, it is just "offenders do bad things".

Hey Grace, fun fact, your Australian government ran a dark web site and distributed (what you'd call CSAM) child pornography for 11 months. Their excuse was "it was for the greater good". If that isn't hypocrisy to the idea that "the problem is out of control" then I don't know what is.
