Long time lurker, I like the people here. Once you realize the irrationality of the hysteria, there is no going back. We live in weird times so it's nice to see a place like this. Btw is it normal I can't add an avatar?

Yes, it is normal that you can't add an avatar yet. This will be possible after a certain number of posts (around 10, if memory serves). EDIT: reading an old post from Jim, it should be after 5 posts.

Then maybe that post from Jim was too old and things have changed since then. This is admin stuff: we as mods have no direct access to that info. But I see users with 12 posts who have avatars.
