Kind of reminds me of the whole plotline of the anime Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-chan. The protagonist invents something in the future that stops girls from aging past 12 and the angel Dokuro-chan is sent back in time with a mission to kill him.

The fact that people are so preoccupied with the physical attraction to children or childlike features (e.g. men wanting women with no body hair, young-looking women, short women, etc. or the problem people have with animated child porn or even just expressing private non-callous fantasies in scenarios that don't impact real-life children, and one thing I've often mentioned whenever the issue comes up is that pedophiles can fantasize about imaginary 'children' in scenarios where they actually do have the cognitive capacity to consent by the conventional standard so the physical attraction to prepubescent children doesn't really have anything to do with ethical questions about consent, you can fantasize about a celebrity who would never actually consent to sex with you and we would never read that as wanting to 'rape' her because in your fantasy the desire is mutual and she would consent to it) clarifies that the stigma is not rooted entirely in wanting to protect children, if at all. I agree that the common narrative (even when it comes to middle-aged or older men preferring women in their early adulthood) completely ignores the reality of human sexual attraction (surely some middle-aged women are easier to control and manipulate than some headstrong, assertive young women and in many cases I'd imagine that the younger partner has some bargaining leverage that her older partner lacks because, as a young person, she is so sought after and has more options than he does, in terms of people they want to date or who would be their first choice), we are generally not honest about human sexual attraction (to some extent I understand why and some pretense about it is to be expected and necessary when interacting with people or in certain relationships), feminists deny the reality of it through various theories about objectification and power dynamics/misogyny, 'conservatives' deny it through the monogamous ideal, etc., there are other threads I could mention this in but I've always thought that the modern liberal preoccupation with de-stigmatizing homosexuality is very shallow because the rationale behind it is never applied consistently across the board. One of the best things that people can do, I believe, is to really accept the idea that attraction is not a choice, and that it has nothing to do with personality or various moral concerns. For example, people will think that someone is disloyal or that there's something morally wrong with them if they express attraction toward someone who k.lled their best friend or some violent serial killer or abuser (there is a time and place for that but I mean on principle) or even that someone who is attracted to someone who mistreats them lacks self-respect, etc. (attraction to a family member, attraction to people other than your spouse, there are many different taboo attractions in the most LGBT-friendly spaces or circles) and people internalize these taboos in the same way that gay people in the West 'used' to internalize the stigma surrounding their general same-sex attraction but it is seen as incomparable. I'm not explaining myself well but there is nothing other than physical attributes that dictates physical attraction (so a person can have some unappealing physical features that cancels out their appealing physical features but their personality or the morality surrounding one's physical attraction to them is irrelevant to what makes them physically/sexually appealing). People aren't necessarily lying when they say that they don't feel attraction to people with personalities they dislike, for example, but the stress that their personalities cause only blocks what they're wired to otherwise feel (imagine two identical clones- one has a desirable personality and the other is everything that bothers you about people, you must LOGICALLY be physically attracted to both of them if you are physically attracted to one of them. I'm not saying that it would be consistent to be attracted to both of them, I'm saying that you must actually be attracted to both of them, the 'consistency' lies in acknowledging that. If they are mostly physically identical save for some physical feature that you are turned off by then weaker attraction to one of them would make sense because those physical features are 'commensurate' in a way, whereas someone's personality or the conditions under which your attraction to them exists is irrelevant to their actual physical appearance. The reason why people would necessarily benefit from 'promiscuity' in terms of being *open* to everyone who meets a certain physical standard is because the suppression of one's attraction to one person; consciously or involuntarily through stress, desensitizes them to other people who share the same features that make them sexually attractive. We don't have a preset disposition to be attracted to specific individuals, we are wired to be attracted to people with a certain set of characteristics).

I think there are serious health problems that comes with puberty blockers.

This might be petty/pointless to say but I don't think that not going through puberty will ensure that someone is identical to their childhood self later on in adulthood. Even with the height of an average 7-year-old and the lack of secondary sex characteristics, an adult who never went through puberty is still going to visibly age (e.g. wrinkles, grey hair, ).

The option to date anyone is completely removed from any real-world scenario for me. There are *so many things* that are wrong with my face and body in terms of conventional attractiveness (even just chronically dry, sticky lips that are worse when I'm outside or interacting with other people makes 'functioning' in public, without constant discomfort and frustration, impossible for me, along with social anxiety, etc.) not to mention my erectile dysfunction. If by some miracle I could attract someone I was attracted to on my best day (or hour), I could not maintain it (couldn't wake up in the same bed with them, couldn't maintain their interest when the latest body acne breakout or some unusual issue occurs and I have that for ages if it ever resolves or lessens, ), again I'm not explaining myself well but TL;DR- conventionally unattractive, social anxiety, erectile dysfunction, sexually numb most of the time, etc. (I also get distracted by things I have to settle in my mind when I'm with other people). That's a pointless tangent but like I said in the "Census of Priorities" thread, when it comes to a pedo-teleio scale of attraction you could maybe say that I am a 'bi' person who unambiguous prefers sexually mature females but I feel virtually no attraction to 7-year-olds at times (12, maybe 11, is when girls start to become really attractive to me. I'm never interested in children under the age of 6) so an eternally 7-years-old-looking person would not really be my first choice in terms of a long-term monogamous relationship (which might be besides the point since I wouldn't be interested in a contractually monogamous relationship to begin with so I could afford to have affectionate sexual relationships with people who wouldn't be my ideal in some fantasy scenario). I would rather date a 30-year-old who looked as though she were 30, or at least 13. The harshest thing about turning 40 is that I will probably always prefer girls/women in the 13-39 age range, although there are younger/older people who are 'outliers' (if I was really into a 40-something year old woman she would probably look as though she could be in her 30s, to be honest).
