With a member getting arrested recently and higher up’s stepping down what’s the future for them?

They're not dying at all.

Their members are even expressing support for Charlie and Sammy.

In fact, it looks like Sammy will remain co-director, despite his little sexual harassment problem.

Virped is doing well within its own little sphere, but no one without mileage or baggage wants to run it for any prolonged period, given what it entails.

This means they are uniquely vulnerable at this point to any "well-meaning" feds or antis who have inducted themselves, and do happen to have the time, and the will to deal with the fallout of being a head Virped.

If I were running it, I wouldn't simply rebrand it.

I'd go full OJ Simpson, and deny everything - rebrand, falsely claim it is "under new ownership" and there were problems with how its predecessor was run. Sammy might get an ultimatum, telling him to assume a new identity or face not being a director any more. I'd then make representations to the charities that support it (before some anti does), informing them that the problematic directors have been ousted, and the group is being "professionalised" via the appointment "child sex prevention" professionals to high ranking positions.

If you are Virped, you are 98% of the way there, may as well have some of these people running the show if it means you are running it professionally. What would it mean, effectively? Less creeper shit on the forums, probably, but things wouldn't change substantively.
