The Problem of Attraction

Age wouldn't matter if people didn't make it an issue. We live in a world where love does not know no bounds. No, as soon as you say something like that, it will be sidetracked by someone blurting out "BUT THAT'S WRONG!" "SOMEONE IS BEING TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF!"
It doesn't feel optimistic to live in this day and age, looking forward to the future where people can be happy. Adults living in constant fear of their kids being taken away from them, when all anybody really wants to do is live freely without judgement. Fearmongering where there is nothing going on.
The world feels more constricted and disconnected than ever and it keeps getting worse every single day. What happened?
