After contacting Leicestershire Police, the victim revealed that Raisen had “made her feel special” and that she “did not realise what he was doing was wrong”. It was only at the time of coming forward that she realised he had “stolen part of her childhood".
In police interviews, Raisen, now 76, declined to answer all questions. He stood trial at Leicester Crown Court and was found guilty of 12 counts of indecent assault and four counts of indecency with a child on Friday, September 19.
