Hearing the word "child" used to refer to a teenager always feels a bit strange to me — do they know that in some European countries it's normal for a 14-year-old to have sex?

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (KABC) -- An Apple Valley doctor has been arrested on suspicion of recording underage girls at the Victorville Fairgrounds.
A witness observed Ashok Melvani, 71, recording two girls who were standing at a food truck on Sunday afternoon, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department. When the witness confronted him, Melvani ran away, but the witness caught up with him and managed to hold him until deputies arrived.
