The more I think about it, the more I realise: right-wing MAPs are the African American Democrats of the manosphere.

They keep voting GOP & other “populist” parties, then wonder why MAPs (especially male ones) make zero progress on age of consent laws, suicide, or the sex offence registry.

I get it: if every party is pedophobic, you’ll back the one that doesn’t openly say “all male heterosexuality is evil” or at least is willing to concede some of your points.

Fair.

But right-wing MAPs don’t get to complain about tradcons while relying on tradcons for crumbs of recognition.

At least Black Democrats get something back—public-sector jobs, welfare crumbs—despite both parties backing mass immigration.

What do rightoid MAPs get? Nothing but podcast clout for a few influencers that aren’t even in their circles.

Trump’s only pro-MAP move was siphoning off funds away from “sexual exploitation” research, but that was less about MAP rights than it was to make ICE bloated. As you might know, Trump’s only pro-MRA move was restoring due process in college tribunals. Even that was less about men’s rights and more about protecting elite frat boys.

Beyond that? GOP & Populism Inc. have done nothing for men, let alone male MAPs.

Islamists are following groups that at least promise to implement a welfare state, whereas Trump-supporting Christians are following a party that tells them they are going to take away whatever support they get. It’s self-own politics, and the case of pro-Trump MAPs is no different.

Someone once said: “Angry young men are like those kind of girls who complain their boyfriend is trash but never leave him.”

That’s the perfect metaphor.

Angry young men—especially zoomers—are stuck on the right-wing plantation, and the ones among them that are MAPs are no exception.
They keep giving loyalty to parties that give them nothing but breadcrumbs in return.

Political resistance to MAPs is organized by predominantly right wing actors, GOP with “Grooming”, Libsoftiktok and GaysAgainstGroomers. In fact, the backlash against Allyn Walker was spearheaded by Libsoftiktok to cancel them for their book about us.

While Democrats have the Epstein list theory, and general pedophobia, they don’t have any equivalent of the GOP’s Pizzagate/Qanon movements, which are based around their opponents being satanic pedophiles.

They are developing Pedocon theory as a kind of Blue-Anon. There are surprising hoards of them on Bluesky who bray like cattle when one of their influencers pretends that Trump and Epstein were buying and selling children at auctions.

Also worth mentioning that Trump reducing funding to CSA research could be impacting researchers like Walker, and other softcore "Harm Reduction" approaches that massage the MAP identity.

I can agree with the point being made, but if there’s nothing better on the other side… I don’t think people vote solely based on their sexual preferences, and when no party can help them in any meaningful way, they’ll simply end up voting based on broader policies, on more general ideals.

Honestly, I don’t even see that as something so negative. I don’t think it’s good for anyone when a single party has a monopoly over an entire category. When it comes to homosexual rights, for example, there should be gay people who also vote Republican, who live among Republicans, and who don’t make it seem like being gay is something exclusively tied to the Democratic Party. Just like we need gay Christians, and so on.

Now, I understand that in this specific case… well, there are a lot of problematic layers here before we can make the comparison with homosexuality actually work.
