He made a video about Connor Weston and says that he thinks all anti-contact maps are just lying and have not yet been caught offending.

I read a comment that, in addition to condemning the entire category outright, and also condemning anyone who merely fantasizes, and saying that one shouldn’t even create this kind of NSFW fantasy content, added, besides “minors” (which, let’s remember, is a legal term that varies from country to country—so I don’t understand how something subjectively defined can objectively be a problem), also “immature people”.

I can now imagine a situation in which a woman with a husband and children slips out, “my husband is such an immature person”, and ends up in prison for pedophilia because of it.

These comments make me so angry.

"GET HELP" appears a lot, get help how? How do you go about asking for it? There are a lot of risks and your life is turned inside out if it gets out to the wrong people, which it has for unlucky ones, and then people witch-hunt us when they know (even if we've done nothing criminally wrong, they assume we're automatically guilty) and get us fired from employment, outed to any neighbors, outed to family and likely dis-owned/cut-off, and more. What the fuck do you think happens?

Not really fair. If people who hate you are writing your biography, would you describe that as having issues with "loving to control the flow of information"? So, either you think everything people say about MAPs is true, or you recognize there is hostility towards us. If there is hostility towards us, what's unusual about challenging claims people make?

... I suspect that a lot of people who describe themselves as offending ****philes are just lying. I think a better term for a lot of those folks would be "not-yet" offending

What do you think MAPs should do?

Now the concept of "MAPness" being an orientation is pretty interesting to me, I haven't really gone super in depth to that, obviously it's a hot button topic...

...because you'd think if you were an anti-contact MAP, a pro-contact MAP is something you'd never want to be associated with them, but who else do they have to turn to?

The flame wars between pro and anti contact are massive, what unites us is the fact that neither group believes we chose to be MAPs and that you can't be honest about the fact you're attracted to children without risking being attacked. Even if you don't want to ever have sexual contact with children, and you want a pill that stops you from having that attraction, how can you ask for that pill if it's so taboo to admit to having the attraction? Surely you realise the way society is about MAPs is at least partially self-defeating.

...but there still seems to be a baffling amount of unity among these folks.
