Honest question, Did your own children ever arise your interest or was that erased in your mind when you became a parent?

I doubt you will find any parents willing to answer that question for you.
But to make it simple - yes, there is a
theory, a Freudian kind of theory that some parents have incestuous "urges" towards their children, and therefore offload the societal guilt unto "pedophiles" as a kind of "reaction formation". Because "pedophiles" are part of a satanic conspiracy to abuse children sadistically, parents can at least have these "urges" without feeling they are "sexual" or "pedophilic". "We're not like them".
