Female MAPS: Do we have it easier, or am I just misguided?

Just wanna preface by saying that males can respond to this as well and give their own opinions, but this is mainly for the gurls 🫶

Anyways, I ask the question, "Do we have it easier?" based on a few observations I've made in society when it comes to MAPs. First, I noticed that the majority of people getting shit for being MAPs are men, and there's even a saying that goes "Not all men, but always a man" when it comes to cases of rape (or what society perceives as rape). Whenever there's a discussion around child "exploitation", it's most always centers around men who are sexually attracted to younger girls, and it's rarely ever about women who want to pursue young boys. Don't get me wrong, I know there has been instances where people "speak out" against female pedophiles, but those moments are few and far between when you compare them to the number of times you see people targeting the males of our community.

Secondly, because people are naturally more cautious of letting their children be around men than they are letting them be around women, I feel like if us female MAPs did (for legal reasons, I'm not endorsing it) want to pursue young children, it'd be a lot easier for us to gain guardians' trust for the sole reason that you rarely hear about a female "predator". Then there's the fact that women are usually perceived to be sweet and nurturing, which gives us an extra benefit when it comes to getting into contact with children. Just in general, our gender is reason enough for some people to let their guards down when it comes to trusting us arounds kids.

Now, I'm well aware that if people find out a certain woman is a pedophile, they're going to start hating her more than they hate Neo-Nazi's, which is just fucked up and unjustified. My Instagram algorithm gives me a lot of feminism-related Instagram posts/Reels, which sadly reminds me that in most aspects of society, women have the shorter end of the stick. Yet, in one of the ONLY circumstances where women get the upper-hand, it's of course a circumstance that's deemed "immoral" and "unredeemable", and unfortunately, western civilization isn't changing their opinions on us MAPs, male or female, anytime soon.

Anyways, those are just my thoughts. Do consider that I spend most of my life indoors and only leave my house for school or food, so my opinions are formed based on what I've seen on the internet. What do you guys think?

Female MAPs definitely have it way easier. If a young guy gets any attention from an older woman, people describe him as lucky and becoming a "real man." This is nothing new; Trump and Bill Maher, just to name a few notable people, have defended female teachers who had sex with male students in the past.

I'm not exactly a Trump supporter, and I'm not familiar with the other guy, but good for both of them!

Yes but not in a way that matters. I suppose lesbians where getting wrapped in rugs and burned alive way less than gay men when homophobia was rapant, but that doesnt mean it was socially acceptable or legal or even safe to come our as a lesbian. I am a transman, but because I am also MAP, it was definently safer for me to present as a woman than as a man. Even looking at a minor when presenting as a man can get you blasted on social media or assualted by a vigillante, but ive seen women get away with a whole bunch of shit that a man would get his ass beat for, and in the rare cases that they dont, there will always be a long, looonnng line of both men and women defending them and trying to get them a lighter sentence. I am not just taliing about sexual stuff, but anything that is socially unnaceptable or illegal in general. That is just life and not specific to pedophillia. I suppose mens rights activists would call this “female privillege” ans I think it has a lot to do with how women are seen as gentle and motherly and safe
