Pedophillia, and hebephillia and ephebophillia, are defined as a primary or exclusive sexual attraction to minors, but what about an asexual person who wants to date and get married to a 12 year old and has crushes on middle schoolers? They technically arent a hebephille since they dont expierence sexual attraction to minors, or anyone for that matter, but they still want to buy 12 year old girls flowers and chocolates for valentines and hold hands and sing love songs to them and all that lovey dovey shit. On a another note, if a pedo gets castrated, does that mean they are no longer a pedo since they are no longer sexually attracted to minors?

As for your second question. With the definition of pedophilia you gave: "... are defined as a primary or exclusive sexual attraction to minors." If said castration destroys your sexual desire towards minors then surely you are no longer a pedophile.

In my dictionary a pedophile is someone that loves children. Can a castration take love away!?
