Hello I’m a guy in my 20s, definitely attracted to little girls. I came to realize this in my teenage years and it was quite a traumatic experience that took me to a dark place for a while. I have since accepted my attractions and am at peace with who I am. I don’t believe any of us chose this and that it is a sexual orientation just like any other. I work in a professional field, once read in one my textbooks in school that maps have a lower IQ which I have found to be tremendously false from talking to other maps. I have been active on VP forum in the past but not super active there. Just trying to get more involved in the map community or curious about seeing what else is out there.

It's partly because they studied imprisoned people (who generally have a lower IQ, on average) and also because they just love saying shitty things about us.

Yes, and even if it turned out to be true, it's just a statistical correlation, not a universal fact. Nothing to worry about too much.

I agree, they have never and likely won't ever be able to get an accurate sample size of MAPS because the only ones who are readily available to interview or be in research are those who are imprisoned

I also agree, it's nothing more than sampling bias. The stigmatism keeps too many hidden due to fear of what identifying as a pedophile will do to their personal/professional life. Despite how "secure" these researches claim the data is, anything stored digitally and on a network can be hacked. How many times have we seen "(insert company) suffered a cyber attack with personal information of millions being leaked"
