Patriotic Britons are being "branded a risk to children because of their political views", Britain's leading free speech group has warned.

Lord Young's Free Speech Union has revealed it is dealing with more than a dozen "egregious" cases of Britons being shut down for their views following a bombshell report about a "silenced" ex-Royal Marine.

Iraq War veteran Jamie Michael was banned from working with children after a social media video in which he likened some migrants to "scumbags" after the Southport murders.

With all of the red tape, who would even want to work with children in the UK?

It's a funny situation in the UK, I think the whole migrant panic is more of an elderly right wing phenomena. Young people that I know there find the whole think to be very sad, that older people have become racists and far right nut jobs. Hopefully as the older generations die off then younger people will bring in more wisdom.

Also, people are blaming their own failings on immigrants far too much. Since Brexit there's been this constant move to the right as if that's going to make their lives better but the father people have been moving to the right, the worse the situation has been getting for people. People have less money, more taxes, fewer jobs while the wealth gap has widened. Eventually even the most ignorant person has to question why the rich are getting richer and the poor poorer and why does all policy push for that.
