Last week, the Malta Police Cyber Crime Unit carried out a major operation targeting child sexual abuse material (CSAM), following referrals received from the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).

During the operation, officers seized 14 electronic devices, including laptops, mobile phones and flash drives and one suspect was arrested. Forensic analysis of the seized devices is ongoing, together with further investigative work.

Police officers were assisted during this operation by Our Rescue, whose operations team provided on-site support as well as advanced forensic tools, specialised training and operational expertise. This collaboration continues to strengthen our capacity to investigate and combat CSAM-related offences effectively.

They are always looking for new "collaborations" with Law Enforcement, it gives them a sense of purpose, new and exciting opportunities for cosplay.
