Does anyone have any insights into what might be done to pressure Meta to bar violent anti-MAP rhetoric on its platforms--either explicitly in its terms of service or informally, by construing their terms of service differently?

I doubt they'll do much unless it's affecting their bottom line, or causing excessive regulatory pressure.

You could try reporting comments to the police if they cross a legal line, but I doubt the police would care much.

I assume you tried reporting the comments to Meta but they refused to do anything?

Probably nothing you can do about it. They list convicted sex offender as those who are not allowed to use Facebook, so they likely do not care about the violent anti-MAP rhetoric.

So anyone can freely post comments on Facebook stating that a named convicted sex offender should be tortured, murdered, or raped... but that person can't sign up to defend himself.

I can't believe we don't see more RSOs going postal.

The fact we don't see a lot of RSOs going postal should be a clear indicator the majority of RSOs are not violent/terrible people. They just want to express a form of love that society forbids.
