"Pedologues" was a podcast series, which aired between 2005 and 2006. In these podcasts, the host and different guests discuss relevant on-topic themes. I wanted to share it mainly because I find it refreshing to hear real people talking about these themes, and it's interesting to see how they continue to remain relevant even after nearly 20 years.

Something that is somewhat depressing. It shows a lack of real progress. The 00s had a lot of vigilante action against us, though. And a lot of doxxing and arrests. 2010-2020 was the VirPed era. While I don't love their ego-dystonic messaging they helped us rebuild into a safer community that doesn't cross legal boundaries.

Pedologues shut down after Rookiee was doxxed by Perverted Justice. They won that battle and it was a set back.

(Not as bad as what happened with Sure Quality Radio, though)

Hopefully going forward we can build on what was in the past, and push further. Instead of just repeating it.

It could become an annual tradition to gather at the end of the year and discuss the MAP topics and related news over the course of 30 episodes.

I have taken Episode 1 and broken it down by topic discussed, plus timestamps, as follows:

Would need to know first from the Mu community, whether this is a useful thing to do with all 30 Pedologues, before embarking on what will obviously be a time-consuming task. The above took me about one hour. Please discuss ...

Ideally, each episode should have a transcript so that anyone can read it if they don't want to listen to the entire podcast or if it is unavailable for some reason.

I see a lot of transcripts on YouTube nowadays. Maybe there is software that prepares them.

Summaries would help in the FST intros. FST itself does not provide the archives with much traffic.

Maybe Mu can do one post (guest blogs?) for every 5 or so pedologues with a summary of the topics covered and rough times. This can be done over 18 months or so.

Happy to lend a hand applying what I did above, to episodes 2 through 5. It may be that future episodes become more focused, which should make the task easier (in theory).

Once that is done, perhaps a few of us can review/edit the five-episode result, and create a "guest blog" as you suggest Jim.

Sounds good. Give me a week to review the remaining four episodes (of the first five) and summarise content. I'll report back here once I am done.
