Well to be begin with, I wouldn't mind an avatar like your's. She is absolutely gorgeous.

In isolation, the same. The size of the visible community remains the same, one major group was rocked by numerous controversies, but remained largely unaffected.

Very little in the way of creative writing is being done compared to a year ago - I received no new offers to create content for this site's blog. Numerous creatives have dropped out entirely, and do not take part in the community due to lack of morale.

The level of viral publicity the movement attracts is steady, but shows signs of increasing in the near-term, similar to what happened towards the end of 2021, with 2022 being the peak year for viral publicity.

In relative terms, we are one year closer to a period of consolidation. Numerous real-world events have taken place suggesting that attention will eventually be driven away almost entirely, be that as a result of a major armed conflict, civil war/secession and/or economic collapse. Then, our priorities should switch to alliance-building so that when a reaction does emerge, we are closer to the center of it.

Feels like things lost momentum mid 2025 compared to earlier. I was working on a project that fell through during the latter half of 2025. The other major thing I wanted to do hit a roadblock too. Out of ideas at the moment.

It really is depressing that so few people are creating pro-MAP content.

The bar to getting a guest blog published on Mu, or on my personal site, is not very high.

You need nothing but an e-mail address. Hell, even a PM sent to me here is enough.

Even heretictoc.com, despite the appeal for guest writers, is getting carried along by Tom O'Carroll. Tom is only alive now because he was basically just past a student in the 1970s, and has since lived on a strict diet of cardboard boxes supplied by his local council.

No one has the attention span to go through news articles, or write something.

I miss the outrage and panic generated on social media. I may be a little imprudent in saying this, but I think this is one of the few ways we can engage in activism: by haunting the normal world.

Not only Tom O'Carroll. Let's face it. The whole fucking nation!

O'Carroll was Labour's only hope at the time. Presentable. And more importantly, electable.

We are left asking: If only things panned out just a little differently...

Sanders in the White House. O'Carroll in Downing Street. Literal nine-year-olds appointed to the civil service.

I'd be happy to write content for the blog.

Activism has been pretty static for decades from what I can see. I'm involved in a few projects, I know others are to, there are lots of small projects running that do collectively make a difference, just not a big difference. I think the community needs to be more ambitious and united, more collaboration.

I think 2026 could be a better year. I'm aware of some more ambitious plans, or rather discussions, so I'm hopeful things will pick up more later in 2026, or they may fizzle out. Regardless of those activities, the world is moving towards ever choppier waters and that could be a good thing. People look elsewhere, look for new enemies and change opens up the opportunity for new ideas and alliances. The changing world could prove to be good or bad, we have to navigate it the best we can.
