Even living in a country where age of consent is 14

Things are pretty difficult and no one feels comfortable to engage in a relationship with a minor. There are also some constraints like not paying for sex, don't offer alcohol and not producing sexual material, but the main factor is always social oppression. People are afraid of being beaten on the street or at public places, lose their jobs, being reported to the police where beliefs are the same as everywhere else.

We can't simply talk about laws when laws are primarily built around social opinion and enforced by people who are just as prejudiced as the average citizen. The age of consent is 14 right now, but it won't be surprising if it rises in the coming years, and this change will be the result of something that had already been happening long before.

I was reflecting about this because in my opinion such relationships are crucial as a form of activism and conceive new ways of living. Actually even relationships between people of 18 and considerably older persons like in their 40-50's are already stigmatized by many feminists, but i guess 18 is the age where we will draw a line for now. There's no reason for age of consent to be higher than 18 and it's probably more harder to endorse this. And we already living in a time where have a relationship with a 18 year old is becoming revolutionary.

Nevertheless, we still need to include AAMs and Minor MAPs on our projects and communities.

How do ordinary people feel about an adult dating a teenager in your country? Is there any organized activism there in support of MAPs or youth rights?

For example, I know that in Germany, although it's not an independent state, there was a fairly tolerant attitude – from understanding and supportive experts willing to help with psychological issues and acceptance, to initiatives at the level of the Green Party or Krumme13. It's surprising that the country was allowed to keep the age of consent at 14, considering that it's an oppressed nation and heavily influenced by the United States.

P.S.: I'm not asking what country you live in; I'm only interested in the social and political situation. If legal relationships with teenagers are possible there, it gives hebephilic MAPs and AAMs the opportunity to openly express their opinions. The more people see that such relationships can be loving and mutual, the greater the chance of their acceptance in society.

It's bad to the point of no one doing this, even being legal. Ordinary people think it's Illegal or they just don't like it and it not prevents you from the social consequences or even aggressive oppression. You can still being beaten on the streets if looks relatively older - or people know your real age - and they see you with a girl of 14.

No. I can count on one hand people that I met online.
If by experts, you want to know about practitioners.
The situation is indeed pretty bad and the doctors we have here are anything but B4U-ACT like. Actually many of them - When they exist - just serve as a proxy to the oppression we suffer outside the clinic. It's like they live with 19th century sexology, they believe in things like rationalizations, cognitive distortions, they are accomplices of the police state; in short, they are not there to help, but to instill guilt institutionally.
