No jail time for drug-dealer's sexual relationship with 14-year-old

A paedophile who had unprotected sex with an underage girl in Angus has escaped further punishment.
Convicted drug dealer Lewis Webster groomed the girl and had repeated sexual encounters with her after weaving his way into her family.
He targeted the child over a four-month period in Arbroath and was trusted to the point of being an emergency contact of the girl’s family.
Webster pled guilty to engaging in unlawful sexual activity with the girl – who was just 14 when she met the creep – between March and July 2024.
A Dundee sheriff stepped back from not only jailing Webster but instead imposing a stringent package to rehabilitate and restrict the predator.
