20 life sentences for simple posession

There is no indication the man did anything other than own the images. No aggravating factor mentioned.

A 45-year-old Ocala man, who was convicted in December of possessing numerous files that depicted the sexual abuse of children, will spend the rest of his life behind bars.
On Wednesday morning, a judge sentenced Michael Alton McMasters to 20 life sentences in the Florida Department of Corrections. Back on December 12, 2025, jurors found McMasters guilty of 20 felony counts of possession of child pornography.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Office arrest report states that in January of 2024, the agency received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The cyber tip indicated that the user of a Gmail account had uploaded a photo depicting a “nude female toddler.”
