If a society builds up witches as the most harmful, evil thing that anyone can be, and if all it takes to 'become' a witch is to think certain thoughts, then naturally some people will fear that they might become one of those witches. And so they go to 'therapy' every week, where a 'therapist' repeats over and over, 'You're not a witch. You're not a witch.' Too bad more people don't just apply some critical reasoning to realise that many witches are good witches, who never do any harm. And maybe it's a bit hysterical to persecute people for the same harmless thoughts that anyone could have.
Side note: I don't know what kind of site that is, but all the Instagram photoshoot-style pics of that woman posing like a model in the article seemed so ridiculously irrelevant, that it was at times hard to take the story seriously.
