BlueSky and self hosted PDSes

So we all know that BlueSky bans MAPs from their community guidelines. But do they enforce it on the relay level (very expensive to run) or the PDS level (very cheap to run and self host)?

They promised that they would only enforce bans on the relay level for technical reasons (e.g. DDoS) or legal reasons (e.g. PIM). But I'm not sure if they extend this to sholicon or MAPs existing.

Has anyone had any success remaining on BlueSky by having a self-hosted PDS? I'm ignoring the moderation labels since they're technically optional.

If not the MAP community could try to have our own relay...

These type of accounts were banned in the Libs of Bluesky purge.

From the relay, or from the BlueSky PDS?
