Institutional abuse is just another bulls**t term

Anyone else sick of hearing about "horrendous" abuse stories about historic abuse. I don't really care if it is media, religious or scouting. The allegations are made decades after. That means that since the accused are (mostly) old men, it plays perfectly in to the minds of the "normies". I dare anyone to look at photographs of these men in their "prime", are they seriously suggesting that they wouldn't be attracted to them. I have even heard victims say the abuse was the best ever.

I'm not sure freedom has much to do with it.
1. There is bandwagoning when institutions and mega-settlements are involved, and a reduction in the standards of evidence. This sets up a vicious circle. The complainants often chase the money out of desperacy or jealousy. There is an incentive to sensationalize and distort testimony to paint a picture of being the "good victim".
2. Authority relationships between adults and children are often involved. In some cases, they will have had little choice over what was done to them, would have been pressured into it, or even abused as a form of discipline. In others, they were likely given rewards and money - some would later regret this, or blame their later life struggles on it, others join in because they are chasing the money.

There you are. I just perfectly explained how CSA is completely false. Victims be like "I got touched by a priest when I was was young". Give me a f**king break already. Get over yourselves.
