I have a friend who isn't a map and she told me a story about how much trust and love she has for a map she knows and she never felt at risk or betrayed.

After she got divorced she moved into a shared house and was there for a long time, with her daughter who was around 4 at the time. Three years later she was still there and had become really good friends with a guy who lived in the same house. Anyway, because of events, he came out to her about being a pedophile and she was really surprised but her love and trust for him as a friend didn't change one bit. Her daughter was really close to him as a bit of a big brother type and she had no concerns.

Her daughter loved him to bits and would often sneak into his room early in the morning, climb in bed with him and they'd just snuggle and sleep. So she would often find her daughter in his bed, sleeping on his arm, it was very cute. She didn't stop that just because he was a pedophile, she told me that she trusted him and knew he was a good guy and she's quite sure nothing ever happened like that and if anything did then it would never be forced and would be something her daughter who was around 7 by then would be pushing for. He just wasn't someone to take advantage, a big brother with some romantic interest.

But it was reassuring to know that there are non-maps out there who don't judge, if they just know the person or stop to think.

People like that are as rare as unicorns. I'm massively surprised though she didn't suspect anything when she found her daughter in his bed. Even if she was OK with it, my first thought would be that he had done something. But she sounds like an amazing woman. I'm sure her kid will have an amazing children filled with good memories. Hopefully she grows up to be a MAP advocate too.
