So I've not got a kid yet, so this may be premature but I have a question for those who do, specifically for those who are non contact. Have you told your wife or gf and your kid that you are a pedophile? and If so how did they react to this?

My gf has been talking more and more about having a kid. I've been hesitant about this for obvious reasons, I would struggle with the temptation. I love my gf and would like to spend my life with her.. I've been on the fence about telling her I'm a pedophile. Even this I'm afraid to do.

tell her you are infertile. get a vasectomy in secret. never speak of this again.

Good advice. I am already a pessimistic person, but on this topic of MAP acceptance and rights I am even more pessimistic (for obvious reasons).

I doubt she will take it in any way he would prefer. Never speak about this to anyone, even your fucking parents.

Why do you think you'd struggle with the temptation? Are you sure you're not letting society get inside your head?

If you fear your wife then she isn't a wife but an enemy, what the hell where you expecting when you proposed to her?

Anyways if you want to keep her for any reason just tell her you don't want kids bc you aren't prepared for such responsability, bc you don't like kids, bc you don't have enough money to give them a good life or whatever other excuse it fits with your personality and previous conversations.

There's a saying "you don't know someone until you live with them." Same thing happened with my dad and ex-mother. He had no idea what an evil human she was until they got married, on their honeymoon she revealed just how nasty she really is.

Then again, this most likely isn't a case an of an enemy, as EVERYONE is a potential enemy when it comes to pedophilia!

Sadly the most viable option is a secretive vasectomy. If you're worried you'd struggle with it, it's NOT worth the risk. She might be in favor of pedophilia, but it's best to NOT take that risk with all of the hysteria.

You can't risk it brother. It is good of you to know you'll be tempted and may give in. It's one thing to avoid kids in your daily life and steer of situations where you can act and another when the kid is in the bathtub right in front of you. If you don't feel you can trust her reaction I would have to agree with the others that you have to find a lie. Sell it hard. It's a hard life we live being unable to do the same things as those without our attractions. I would never tell a significant other because I firmly believe it's not worth the risk.
