It's absurd how lolis try so hard to distance themselves from pedophilia and deny being attracted to real children. Maybe some of them are telling the truth and they're cartoonaphiles or whatever rather than pedophiles, but there's no way you're convincing me the majority of people who like to jack off to comics about explicitly pre-pubsecent, flat chested schoolgirls have zero attraction to the real life equivalents. Would anybody believe that a bara-enthusiast has zero real attraction to buff, hairy dudes?
I understand why they do it, because they've internalized pedophobia and they're in denial, but it still annoys me. Especially when they go as far as to engage in attacks against pedophiles themselves as some kind of redemptive virtue signalling in an attempt to earn the approval of antis.

Not knowing any Chinese languages or being especially familiar with the culture in east Asia, I'm curious how much of this discourse is basically just being imported from western internet sources, vs how much is more of an example of convergent cultural evolution, like if this kind of discourse has popped up organically in lots of different places.

It kinda makes sense though. if they admitted they were into real children or supported MAPs in any way how do you think they'd be treated? not very well.
