Does anyone else feel distress over being a MAP?

I'm a 20 year old male and i feel attracted to girls 13 or younger, i like girls that are barely pubescent, i've felt attracted to them since i was 16. I like girls that have small breasts, short height, cute face, lack of pubic or body hair, etc.

At first, I didn't care about my attraction, but in the past year I've felt distressed about it. I've seen a lot of people make death threats towards MAPs, especially hebephiles and pedophiles. I feel threatened and my life is at stake if someone finds out my attraction to children.

On top of this, I just feel distress when I look at girls that I like, because deep down society hates me for it and is making me feel like there is something wrong with me. I cant imagine not being attracted to girls that have small breasts or cute face etc.

I also feel like I can't maintain a relationship with an adult women anymore because I won't feel attracted to her that much.

Is it normal to feel this if you are a MAP or a pedophile? I try to embrace my attraction but I just feel insecure about it.

Sorry you feel this way.

The more time you spend around children, enjoying their company without anyone noticing, the more normal it will all feel.

Can you get a job or volunteer in such a capacity?

I do! Mostly because of antis and the fact that I know many kids aren't treated well in this part of the world. Makes me want to adopt them!

Though I've been finding since going to arcades and such has been rewarding (unless there are shitty parents there). For the most part it's pretty worth it!

I sometimes feel distressed as well. I'm nearing 60, and I know that human beings become more who and what they are, the older they get. I don't know that I'll be able to control myself in my 80's, and I certainly don't want to hurt anyone, especially not an innocent child!

As much as the human being is a social animal, then it is normal to feel distressed in our situation.

Fortunately we are not fully (yet?) mindless insects in a beehive, so we can reason with our own head. And if you are being honest with yourself, and knowing you are no danger to anyone (as society really wants), then this should help tone down the distress.

This is completely normal when you're a part of the most persecuted group currently.

I feel distress over people finding out and negatively judging me. I have GAD though.

Yes.

Distress over being MAP. Distress over misconceptions. Distress over hiding it.
Distress over the LGBTQ ideals not applying to us.
Distress over not wanting to do harm but being MAP seen as being harmful even without being acted on.
Distress over lack of sensible discussion about this and a lot of other areas. Seems to b getting worse.
