Anyone else hate this?

I know this is a form about MAPS this still sorta applies. You go to the pool and their is a highly attractive woman, theirs always kinda this unspoken rule that you somewhat keep your eyes low and don't even look in her direction type of deal or it's "creepy" same can be said about these beautiful petite 14 to 17 year olds as well. Perfectly toned tummy, skinny perfect thighs everything but if you take a quick peak you're the weirdo let they sure as hell dress in a way around bodies of water that leave almost nothing to the imagination.
I'm curious as to why us humans with all our brainpower evolved in such a way that we are ashamed of our sex drive especially males as to where we need to hide it or pretend it didn't exist.
Instead of going to a place where people are scantly dressed and always feeling like you have to watch where you look or how long you look. Maybe I'm overthinking it but it's just what I've noticed.
Agreed. Re: Anyone else hate this?

Completely agreed. Nowadays, you might be shamed for "intrusive staring", labelled a "pervert", "creep", etc. and potentially accused of so-called "sexual harassment", regardless of whether they are adults or physically developed "minors" (social construct).
Here is the story of an incel (involuntary celibate) who was punched in the face at a public swimming pool by a male white knight after a group of women accused him of "sexual harassment":
Women at a swimming pool accused me of "sexual harassment". The life guards sided with them.
A fertile woman who wears a bikini
knows perfectly well that she is inciting sexual desire. Women who are bothered by being seen with their stomach and legs exposed have the option to wear a full-body swimsuit that covers everything from neck to shin. This is not "victim blaming" - they made the conscious choice of going to a public, crowded place in a bikini.

Yeah....the "always believe women" crap that is parroted these days is horrible. And men especially many modern men go out of their fucking way to white knight for women. If someone of any gender is touched in a place that makes them uncomfortable then yes that's wrong but to glance over and a buncha white knight fucks screeching and defending the women at any cost is pathetic.
Simping culture these days is a huge problem....it's why only fans is so popular, and how twitch streamers that happen to be female can wear a low cut shirt and become rich. Sex sells and Its perfectly fine to objectify themselves as long as they are making money doing it. Otherwise "omfg pervert".
Also as you said another huge issue is men lying their ASSES off saying that a fully developed 16 yo isn't attractive or they feel no attraction to them "because they are just a kid". Lmao BULLSHIT.

I also find if people intentionally look away they are sometimes seen as a "problem" for thinking there is something to avoid looking at. Maybe not at pool or something, but more generally.

Very true, like is it weirder to not look at someone who is very obviously attractive? Social norms are weird

Society seems to be growing a strange idea of attraction.
It is like physical attraction is no longer healthy. Unless someone has a "protected" orientation in which case it is acceptable to state that attraction.
People can't tell attraction from action - so we have the issue that MAPs are a problem.
I saw a reel a while back with a young adult saying that if older users found it attractive they were predators - just for feeling attraction and not doing anything.
Flippantly, it is like saying someone who feels hungry is overeating!
I saw an agony aunt column where someone wrote in saying they were having trouble finding their wife attactive as they became middle aged and had children. He didnt say he wanted to feel that way and said he still loved her, but couldnt feel the physical attraction like he used to. And the comments suggested he chose to feel that way.
I think it is true that physical and emotional attraction "feed" each other. Find someone basically nice looking and also really like them as a person and the physical attraction increases. But also people dont control the level of physical attraction they feel.
And i see articles making out it is bad to feel attracted or turned on by seeing someone physically attractive or who is wearing more minimal clothes. Absolutely not right not leer at them or make them uncomfortable or harrass them. But just feeling attraction (or not) is basic biology.
Also confusion over valuing someone based on attraction. If i see two people and find one more attractive than the other - yes if in a situation of choosing a partner i might choose the more attractive but for any other purpose i would not choose one over the other as a better person. Both are of equal value as humans.
When it comes to not wearing much being right or wrong. Changing rooms and toilets are private places for a reason. So to say it is weird to consider modesty potentially a good thing is odd, but obvs that this is more nuanced than i am making out. I do wonder why someone would choose to be scantily dressed in public except to be a bit "exposed" but again this is nuanced and i accept people have their own reasons. But as a man would i choose to go out in just tight swimwear (except to a swimming pool or beach)... probably not. Personally i would find it odd to dress like that. BUt it is preference naturally. Very nuanced but i think the discussion is a bit strange sometimes.

Yeah on that last part good lord I was in a super store the other day right before school started and some of those 12 to 17 yos were wearing the smallest little crop tops that left little to the imagination. But if you look you're a "pedo" lmao.
I feel like our "culture" mixed with our huge brains made us fucking retarded for lack of a better term.
