Lets say that a pedophile leads a virtuous life. He doesnt commit any sexual offenses. He treats other people with respect and does good things for other people. However, people will still view him as worse than a rapist, serial killer, drug addict, drug dealer, etc. Why is this?

because of disgust. People have been conditioned in such a way they cannot FATHOM someone being attracted to a minor. Plus all the dads with daughters that cannot imagine their little princess being a sexual being.

Of course they can be a good person, there is zero evidence that pedophiles are less good than non-pedophiles.

The hysteria against pedophiles has nothing to do with goodness or morality, it's entirely an entirely man made hysteria based on nothing more than perpetual negative messaging.

Of course they can. I am an employed, charitable, and good natured honest person who likes to help others, I also have volunteered many hours for good causes, so yes, pedophiles can be good persons

You need to stop caring so much what other people think. Society's opinion doesn't define someone.

Seriously, just because society says 'MAPs are harmful to children'... that does NOT mean that MAPs have to harm children. In fact, MAPs should probably ignore society when they speak such rubbish.
