MAP Forum

What is the purpose of a MAP board (not Mu, but other more socially focused ones), if they continually talk about "What kind of shoes do you wear?", or "What is your favorite German Wurst?", while the mods silence pro-c speech—legal pro-c speech?

Why do MAPs need to gather to discuss "Pinterest topics"? Shouldn't the discussion be more focused on "Pederest topics"?

Some of those running these boards I guess want to "play it safe" and not discuss minor attraction at all. What's the point of running a MAP board in that case?

Then there are those who are happy just talking with other MAPs about diaper fetishes, etc. They sometimes tend to signal lack of self-control, and therefore should not be anywhere near a minor.

Where are the social boards for the MAPs who dream of a normal M/b (M/g, M/c, W/b, W/g, W/c) relationship where it looks similar to all other relationships in society? (e.g. "How was your day honey?")

There is a huge tension between being an activist community and one that, well, tries to make a community. Because we are social creatures and MAPs usually lack a community to have solidarity with I dont think its bad having places within the forum where they discuss cultural/social stuff. The solution is probably just to have different expectations for different areas of the forum to separate real discussion/activism/news and the other community stuff like social/cultural/gaming stuff. MAPs are in a unique position where we have to limit ourselves even if we philosophically disagree until we change society, so I think our boards have to reflect that.

The only MAP friendly discussion boards that I've found, that discuss mostly MAP, AAM topics, are this one, and Visions of Alice.

I agree that different areas are a good thing and hey, if they want to discuss German Wurst, more power to them. The point I was making is when you have MAPs come together to discuss German Wurst and NOT able to discuss Minor attraction and consent, then what's the point of MAPs gathering if there is an elephant in the room that no one is allowed to talk about?

I'm new to this forum but isn't there like a whole section on the front page called "Contact/Consent Discourse & Debate" dedicated for exactly that?

This post specifically mentioned that it was NOT about Mu, but other more socially focused MAP boards. Mu does not have this problem.
