MAPs and Holocaust remembrance

Post by Artaxerxes II »

On Friday, the 27th of January 2025, will mark the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz across much of Europe as well as Australia and the UK. In America this won't come until summer of next year, but that's alright, because for my plan spreading the message across the UK and Australia will suffice.

Before I state my plan, here's the context:

In Nazi Germany, a substantial amount of concentration camp inmates had the upside-down pink triangle badge on them, signifying that they were sexual deviants. Among them, at least 10% were arrested for having intimate activities with minors younger than 14, and 75% for homosexual activities with men under the age of 21. It's safe to say that many of them who got sent to the camps were pederasts: https://wiki.yesmap.net/wiki/Historical ... and_allies

I think that it would be honourable for MU to remind the public that a non-negligible amount of MAPs were themselves victims of the Holocaust. So here's my plan:

On the 27th of January, we should roll out an article regarding the link between MAPs and the Holocaust and our struggles since then. That should be enough to bring attention onto us. But I think that social media campaigns won't be enough. We'll need on-the-grounds action in various parts of Europe (e.g., The UK, Germany, Sweden, Spain, Italy, etc...) as well as Australia, whether it's posting posters and flyers in public areas, or near Holocaust monuments.

All we would need is a figure that we can relate to. Unfortunately, we don't have much to go by other than Adolf Brand and Magnus Hirschfeld, but even then they weren't victims of the Holocaust so much of Nazi repression (Magnus' institute got attacked after his death, and Adolf Brand had his activism put on a halt when the Nazis destroyed Der Eigene, although Brand would die in 1945 following an allied bombardments).

All constructive feedback is welcome.
