The Problem With "Predator Catching" Culture

When cruelty is the point of something, that something should be regarded with the highest levels of scrutiny. In the case with so called "Predator Catching" the whole point is to catch someone acting on the belief that they are going to have a consensual meeting and instead humiliate them in public, and broadcast their inevitable arrest for views (usually for ad revenue). The "Hunter" is going out of their way to ruin someones life for their own five minutes of fame while their victim is left with their life in shambles at best. At worst, they get arrested and put in a cage with violent offenders for years upon end where they themselves will be made a victim. Quite frankly the whole thing is rather detestable and if there is anyone who deserves their life ruined in this situation, it's the people behind the camera.
