Find it strange as well however I don’t trust mental health professionals in general,definitely not a therapist.
I definitely don’t like how we’re used as Guinea pigs but act like how their doing pedophiles a favour.

Was browsing one of those “I work with offenders in prison ama” reddit forums. The doctor doing the ama admitted that unlike murderers and terrorists and shit, he not only didnt care about the lives and wellbeing of pedos but actively hated them and wanted “be left with them alone” so that he could “””“have a chat””””, and since we are all over 4 years old, it is pretty easy to understand the implications of “wanting to be left alone so that you can have a chat” with someone you hate. You might say “oh well pedos are basically satan incarnate so that makes sense” but think of it this way. No other patient population has to work with providers who not only dont care about them, but actively want to abuse or torture or kill them. NO OTHER PATIENT POPULATION. Antis and healthcare workers will say they want pedos to work with them but then turn around and admit on anti safe spaces that they also actively want to abuse or torture and or murder us
Why should pedos have to put up with that treatment from healthcare workers? Espcially since no other patient population has to deal with this nonsense, not even the people who beat kids to death or lock them in sheds and feed them feces or shoot them up in schools. And you might say that “well pedos are bad so they deserve healthcare workers who want to sabotage and hurt them”. Ok, and? You think that we are going to willingly work with people who want sabotage and hurt us because….??? Telling a therapist or doctor about your mapness or working with a therapist or doctor after being imprisoned is 100% optional. If the only doctors and therapist you will give us is the doctors and therapists that we “deserve” then we simply wont work with them. Its that simple. No need to tell the truth or even seek them out in the first place if the only options you want to give us is literal garbage from the dumpster.
