I feel like wanting bigots who are actively trying to bring about your death (even if politically) to be dead isn't genocidal, although it is certainly violent. Supremacist beliefs are fundamentally different to inherent identity categories, and different even to personal religious beliefs and associations. For my own part, I don't mind dropping grudges against people who've changed their mind and stopped being hateful bigots, but I fully believe in self-defense and the value of being cautious.
