Re: Antis who are minors. Thoughts?

I've even read posts from minors arguing for an age of consent higher than their own, or even from people aged 18–20 arguing that the age of consent should be raised above their own age. It’s crazy, because they base their arguments on fallacies like the one about the prefrontal cortex, so they’re ...

Re: A couple (13 & 20) commits suicide because they weren't allowed to be together

Furthermore, even though he was a drug dealer, it's only mentioned once in the article, yet the age gap is in bold characters to emphazise it and in the title too.

Well, anyway, I think they’re emphasizing that just to make him seem more evil and so people will empathize with him less. They’ve ...

A couple (13 & 20) commits suicide because they weren't allowed to be together

As the title suggests... a suicide because the relationship between a couple (13F & 20M) wasn't allowed by her parents, who had already begun taking legal action (which would have ultimately led to the boyfriend being sent to jail, of course, and for many years).

Re: The Spartacist League

I suppose I’m being very critical because it pains me to see them abandon that stance, given that they were one of the few organizations that still held it. It’s true that what they say in the article isn’t absolutely terrible, since they still acknowledge that, in an ideal future, young people ...

Re: We must respond aggressively to the backward narrative of 'victims'

Using the "victim" label to wish death upon MAP members who are not harming anyone is unjustifiable, and those people deserve a response proportional to the violence they promote.

In all other cases, however, challenging the “victim” narrative can be done with empathy and understanding. It's ...

Re: Teenagers and adults- are they different or more similar?

Teenagers and adults are much more similar than people think, in every respect: psychological, physical, and cognitive.

But, furthermore, of the few differences that do exist, most are socially constructed. Most cultures throughout human history have not even had a term for adolescence, because it ...

Re: Will there be more MAPs joining the community in a decade from now?

I think many more people will join the MAP community over the next decade, but mainly because of the broadening definition of “pedophilia” and the repression associated with it. Years ago, a 21-year-old who is attracted to 16-year-olds might have had a normal relationship while assuming that real ...

New study on capuchin monkeys

An interesting article from this year about wild, robust capuchin monkeys.
