Facebook like most mainstream social networks is very intolerant of MAPs.
Even their restricted search terms make no sense.
'petite women' for instance is considered a term related to csa.
Seriously FB?

I added scare quotes to your topic just so it didn't seem you'd been involved in actually abusing a child.
If only some people can have it, that's not happiness. That's just nonsense. Happiness is something anyone can have.

I had the same thing happen to me the first time I registered. Yes, it's because I was looking at children, and no, I don't need any approved reason from the company to allow me to look at them. I'll do it anyway and this is complete censorship bullshit from Fuckfacebook! I won't be using this spyware again, as it is highly anti-map.

I'm facing the same issue for the same reasons because I subscribed and friends with the hot preteen and late single digit girls that do dances modeling and stuff. Just flat out bs.

It’s complete bs because those same preteen models don’t want you banned. They want you to like their modelling and follow them. They want you to think they’re pretty. That’s why they’re doing it. Those not so innocent little girls know exactly who their audience is and they like it.

Getting banned from Facebook for "child sexual abuse" makes no sense at all. As someone who was sexually abused as a child, I find this particularly disturbing and absurd. What does that even mean? If Facebook allows content of which simple likes are labeled as "child sexual abuse," doesn’t that imply they’re permitting "exploitative" content?

Anyway, thanks for opening up about what you’re going through. It's understandable that you're feeling overwhelmed and frustrated, especially when you're just trying to enjoy the content you like. Please know that we're here to listen and offer support if you need it. It’s totally okay to feel overwhelmed, and reaching out for support is a strong move. Remember that you're not alone, and there are people who care about you and want to help. If you're struggling with difficult emotions or thoughts, it might help to chat with someone who can support you. You deserve to be treated with kindness and respect, both by others and by yourself.

It doesn't make sense.
Does Facebook have different rules or moderation policy for people from different regions?

They do. It's only when that content is directed to their anonymous third party content moderators that it gets removed.
By the way, it's absurd to suspend user accounts simply because they liked some post by a preteen model.

I'd like to note, I'm doing this on Instagram all the time and have never had any problems. From what I experience and hear from others, Instagram is much more tolerant of this stuff than Facebook. It's odd because they're both owned by the same company, yet their policies and enforcement seem to differ significantly.

It's just an excuse they use for their algorithms to randomly ban people. Otherwise the say that "you failed to prove your identity" or "you are not eligible to use Facebook". They just want to make it seem like there's a serious reason, when they just refuse to hire enough people to check on people's accounts and what they're doing with them, which is also why they allow so much hate and harassment material that's illegal in many countries.

FB in total has about 70 000 employes, that's one per 30 000 active users, approximately, and only some of them work with customer issues. You can imagine they don't bother much with it.

PorcelainLark wrote: Sat May 17, 2025 7:38 pm Why not make another account? I'd see it a bit like adblockers, when they get popular enough the company tries to stop them from working only for new methods to pop up. I find there's satisfaction in getting around stuff like that. I don't take it personally, just as a company views me as being an obstacle, I likewise view them as an obstacle; I'm never going to accept advertising.

There's no point in giving much thought to people, when they're making your life more difficult without much thought either. You should care as much as they do when they're closing a "loophole." View them as an impersonal challenge to solved. If your motivations are irrelevant to them, so should their motivations be to you.

I wish it was that easy but it is pretty much impossible to make a new Facebook once you are banned nowadays.

I already tried twice to make a new account and they disabled both right away after they were created.
