Exactly but everyone is more upset over the fact that she had the fathers friend have a crush on the girl since she was 3 apparently and there is a scene where the toddler version of the 18-year old girl character touches herself.

Without the book being available we don't have much context though.

But she didn't condemn the older male character for his unapproved thoughts. That is the main problem.

The MAP was also portrayed not as a violent rapist. Another problem. How are Australians going to feel better about themselves without a sadistic pedo to beat down?
Which i guess explains why Lolita is allowed to be published in Australia but not this book it is because people often mistake that book for having a moral message or some kind of warning against predatory behavior when in reality it is anything but.

Honestly if Tori Woods had just moved to America before writing the book this could have been avoided and she would have been able to actually get it published since in the US it would be protected under free speech.
