I fully agree with you on that, I think any donator has the right to ask what is his money going for, in the case of Nelson it would be to allow him to survive in the hellish conditions of the Mexican jails.
He can't use cryptocurrency directly because he is on jail and I don't think he can buy food from prison with crypto, but I'm pretty sure that if someone convert the cryptocurrency donations of a potential wallet to official currency and gives it to Nelson he will accept it without problems.
