How do I get an image to actually upload?

You should be able to upload attachments. Look below 'Save draft', then to the left. There is a box titled Options/Attachments. Select the Attachments tab.

My picture still didn't show up. I didn't see any box called attachments.

I don’t see it on mobile. And img BBCode doesn’t work.

imgBB code is disabled for security reasons.

I'm not sure why you can't see the Attachments tab on mobile.

I personally never use mobile because I don't trust mobile devices for MAP activist stuff.

I would gladly see your meme, but I don't have an VoA account (maybe it's time to open one?).
Anyways, I would like to understand why you guys could not attach files. Let's start with that: Do you see the "Attachments" tab below the buttons "Save draft", "Preview" and "Submit" when you are composing the message?

It says I cannot post attachments in this forum?
