I think the best way forward for acceptance and normalization would definitely be along the lines of a youth rights movement or an ageless movement that recognizes that tweens and teens are not children, and are thus able to make their own decisions and date whoever they want to.

Additionally, recognizing that anyone regardless of age can be abused or groomed by definition. It doesn't mean that simply because someone is older that they have malicious intent towards others or want to cause harm.

The concept of adolecence was created in the 1800s by some random guy named Stanly Hall. The age of consenr and the age of majority are constantly changing, if they even exist at all. In 30 years, anyone under 30 may be considered a child, in 30 years, anyone over 7 may be considered an adult. Maybe scientiffic advancements will extend human life so that we live to 120 on average, and anything under 60 will be young adulthood or childhood. Maybe a mass plague, similar to covid 19 will wipe out a good chunk of humanity and reduce the average lifespan to 58. The point is, you dont fucking know what will happen, and to claim that you not only can predict the future, but predict a future were absolutely nothing will change and everything will be the exact same as it was centuries ago with absolutely no progress whatsoever, is the stupidest shit ive ever heard.

Bro it's a simple fucking question no need to trip. I stated that I support relationships between adults and kids but instead of complaining about my question. Instead of accusing me of being a anti even though you know I'm not based on the few conversations we've had, just debate my question. If we're trying to normalize being a map just like the LGBT was able to be so normalized that they have their own movies, tv shows, cartoons, parades, video games, even super heroes now. The last time we talked when I made that post about the golden era I stated that I wish we could be free about our attractions but we live in a society where that can get you killed and you agreed. I truly believe that their are map's in high places that are trying to make changes but when they try a mob erupts. Look at it this way, when Modern Family came to television, it was still a time where hate crimes against gays were common. Gays being denied work was common. Public humiliation of gays were common. Etcetera. Then Modern Family came to the scene and homosexuality quickly became socially acceptable. Within five years later homosexual marriage was legalized nationally. And everyone who worked on that show went on to have incredible careers. The creator of the show is an amazing legacy. The moral of what I'm saying is now Netflix tried to do the same thing with Cuties and look what happened. Netflix lost over a hundred million subscribers and hundreds of millions of dollars. They ended up having to fire half of their staff and it took years to recover from that lost. The company that runs Modern Family, was ABC, which is owned by Disney. Now, do you really believe that CBS, or NBC, or whatever, is going to really make a TV show that supports a relationship between a man and an infant? On Modern Family, there are multiple times where the gay married couple kissed. Do you think any of the high-level networks are really going to allow a show where a 30-year-old man French kisses a 6-month-old baby? And so, the couple were only three weeks apart, literally were born three weeks apart. But because he was 18, the mom was still able to turn him in.
